This message is to alert you that on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 1:15 PM our high
school will be hosting a Prom Promise Mock Crash event in the DAHS back parking lot.
This powerful demonstration aims to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired
driving, particularly during prom season.
During this event, we will simulate a realistic car crash scene to illustrate the
devastating consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Please
know that there will be a significant emergency responders presence on campus assisting
with this event between 12:30 pm until the conclusion of the event. This will include
police, firefighters, and paramedics.
The Prom Promise Mock Crash serves as a sobering reminder to our students about the
importance of making responsible choices, especially when it comes to celebrating
milestones like the prom.
