Excela Health, Latrobe Hospital, is looking for students interested in the medical field. Because of the pandemic, the volunteer opportunities are limited!  Excela is looking for students that would be interested in acting as greeters for the information desk. This would be supporting the concierges that work the desk already.
 
There are scholarships available to those that volunteer at Latrobe Hospital or Excela Square at Latrobe. A minimum of 150 hours is required, and three scholarships ($2,500; $1,500; and $1,000) go to volunteers with the highest number of accrued hours.

Laborer Job Responsibilities:
·      Perform various physical duties as assigned.
·      Moving, loading, and unloading material and equipment.
·      Installing utilities and site work.
·      Use of both heavy and light operating equipment, depending on the jobsite.
·      Cleaning up of the jobsite.
·      Maintaining proper safety standards.
·      Following tasks as described by site supervisor.

Hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with possible overtime.
90-day probation period.
On the job training will be provided as needed.

Laborer Qualifications/Skills:
  • Ability to perform physical labor.
  • Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
  • Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
 
Experience and Licensing Requirements:
  • A current PA driver’s license
  • is required.
  • Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
  • Previous experience is a plus, but not required.
